Ryan's Bed And Breakfast is located five minutes from the ocean, the US ferry terminal, and historic downtown Victoria, a great place to explore on foot. Most attractions are within easy walking distance!
Victoria has kept many of its historic traditions. The past echoes into the present through Victoria's quaint but proud British roots. High Tea is served at a number of establishments in the finest Victorian tradition, or visit the British Columbia Parliament Buildings to see parliament in session. Walk the Inner Harbour Causeway and view the moored sailboats, or explore historic Downtown, Market Square, Chinatown, or Antique Row. Take an evening walk on the harbour's breakwater over the Juan De Fuca Straight, with views of the snowcapped Olympic Mountains, and watch the sun sink into the Pacific Ocean. Victoria's nightlife offers many restaurants, cafes, and English-style pubs bars and clubs. Horse-drawn carriages and bicycle petty cabs are a very popular way to end a Victoria day!
B&B Directions: General
Superior street is one block south of the Legislative Buildings. Turn west and go to #224. That's where we are. Ryan's Bed and Breakfast is in the James Bay area of Victoria, right downtown- 3 blocks from the ferry terminal, about 3 or 4 blocks from the Parliament Buildings, downtown, shopping, the Royal BC Museum, the IMAX Theatre, 5 blocks from the bus terminal.
B&B Directions: From The Airport
Follow the signs to #17 which is the Patricia Bay (Pat Bay) Highway. Turn right (south) onto the highway. Get into the centre lane, the one next to the yellow line. The Pat Bay Highway becomes Blanchard Street when you enter the city. Stay in the centre lane. Eventually, if you want to avoid hitting the tree, you will be forced to turn right onto Belleville Street. Turn right when forced. Go past the Legislative Buildings one block and turn left onto Oswego Street. Then, third right onto Superior. We’re at 244 Superior.
